Authix Terms of Service

Authix is a specialized, privacy-focused software product engineered and maintained by Dhaulix, an independent digital studio founded in Baijnath, Himachal Pradesh. The application is distributed across designated desktop and mobile platforms as specified on its official product specification page. These product-specific Terms of Service work concurrently with the overarching Dhaulix Master Terms and the dedicated Authix Privacy Policy. By downloading, compiling, installing, or launching an official release of Authix, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consented to these operational guidelines in full. Features, interface modules, cryptographic protocols, and minimum operating system specifications for Authix may evolve as we push regular performance updates, security patches, and functional enhancements. Active release notes and version histories are published alongside each packaged distribution.

You are granted an individual, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to execute Authix on compatible hardware under your custody and control, solely for legitimate personal or authorized professional organizational purposes. You strictly agree not to misuse Authix by attempting to circumvent security restrictions, tamper with internal cryptographic key stores, inject malicious payloads, or disrupt software verification processes. Automated extraction, unauthorized third-party wrapping of binaries, or distributing pirated modifications of Authix is unequivocally prohibited under applicable software protection statutes. Failure to abide by these fair-use standards undermines ecosystem safety and may result in immediate revocation of your software license, termination of access to companion synchronization relays, and appropriate legal remedy where willful damages occur.

In strict adherence to the Dhaulix architectural manifesto, all records, encrypted vaults, documents, configurations, and user inputs generated within Authix belong exclusively to you. Dhaulix maintains zero proprietary claim, editorial authority, or surveillance access over your stored content. Data handling inside Authix is implemented using local-first storage paradigms: your sensitive information is written directly to your physical device storage in encrypted structures, insulated from unauthorized third-party telemetry or harvesting agents. We do not inspect, monetize, or train machine-learning models on your personal workflows. You retain absolute authority to export, migrate, or permanently purge your information at will through internal application settings. Because your data resides in your custody, you bear principal responsibility for establishing independent offline backups to prevent data loss resulting from device misplacement or hardware damage.

Authix is engineered to deliver uninterrupted, high-performance operational utility without requiring a persistent internet connection. Core computational routines, localized databases, search indices, and interface navigation function smoothly entirely offline. When you intentionally activate optional connected capabilities—such as cross-device synchronization, automated platform update checks, or secure cloud backups—Authix establishes authenticated, end-to-end encrypted connections to verified server endpoints solely for the duration required to complete the designated sync cycle. Offline usage ensures that network degradation, remote server outages, or travel beyond cell coverage will never lock you out of your vital records or daily workflows. When reconnected, Authix utilizes deterministic conflict-resolution algorithms to harmonize changes without overwriting your records.

If Authix provides optional paid enhancements—such as extended vault capacities, pro features, or ecosystem subscriptions—all billing arrangements are transacted transparently through authorized app marketplaces including Apple App Store and Google Play. Prior to authorizing any financial commitment, you are presented with exhaustive pricing disclosures indicating billing frequencies, local currency charges, applicable taxes, and any accompanying trial provisions. Recurring subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the active billing cycle via your platform account management hub. Upgrading to a paid tier does not compromise your privacy or grant Dhaulix access to your payment card details. Uninstalling Authix does not automatically terminate recurring billing; you must manage your subscription through your operating system store settings.

The source code, user interface designs, custom iconography, animations, brand marks, and documentation comprising Authix represent proprietary intellectual property owned and maintained by Dhaulix and its creators, safeguarded under international copyright and trademark protections. While your installation grants you the practical right to utilize the application software, it conveys no transfer of copyright, trade secrets, or intellectual property ownership. You may not extract proprietary UI assets, replicate the unique aesthetic branding of Authix, or distribute cloned variations without explicit written authorization. Any third-party or permissive open-source libraries integrated into Authix remain governed by their respective open-source licensing agreements, the terms and attributions of which are accessible through the legal notices embedded in the software distribution.

Authix is provided to you on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis, without express, statutory, or implied warranties of any kind, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular intent, or error-free execution. Although Dhaulix invests meticulous craftsmanship into testing, securing, and optimizing Authix across supported operating environments, unpredictable operating system updates, hardware idiosyncrasies, or third-party background software may occasionally introduce anomalies or momentary interruptions. You expressly acknowledge that Dhaulix cannot warrant that Authix will meet every idiosyncratic expectation or operate without intermittent defects. You assume total responsibility for determining the suitability of Authix for your specific lifestyle, productivity, or security workflows.

To the fullest extent authorized under prevailing statutory jurisprudence, in no event shall Dhaulix, its founding developers, contractors, or platform partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of your utilization of Authix. This liability boundary applies to claims concerning data loss, hardware malfunctions, system downtime, business interruption, or personal inconvenience, irrespective of whether the claim sounds in contract, tort, negligence, or strict legal liability, even if Dhaulix was apprised of such potential harm. Under all circumstances, the total cumulative monetary liability of Dhaulix for any dispute directly tied to Authix shall be strictly capped at the aggregate sum actually paid by you for Authix during the preceding twelve months, or fifty US dollars ($50), whichever amount is lesser.

Dhaulix reserves the legal prerogative to amend, modernize, or clarify these Authix Terms of Service to reflect software iterations, architectural refinements, or evolving legislative compliance mandates across international territories. Whenever material alterations are published, we will increment the document version tag, revise the 'Last Updated' timestamp, and provide explanatory notes within the application's changelog or website release highlights. Your continuous execution or updating of Authix following the formal publication of revised terms constitutes your explicit, legally binding affirmation of the amended provisions. If any prospective term is disagreeable to you, your exclusive remedy is to discontinue utilizing Authix.
